My Baking Journey😋
Baking and cooking have long been a way for me to share love, happiness, and connect with people. Every piece of bread, cake, cookie, and dish carries a story and a culture, and food is a universal language everyone can appreciate. Creating something from scratch and sharing it with the people I love brings me so much joy, especially when I see their smiles and know my creations have brightened their day!

2023 May was the first time my friends and I joined the school Master Chef competition. Despite coming in 2nd, it was still a lovely experience for us to cook together!
We made potato-stuffed fried chicken wings and garlic pork steak complemented with lettuce
In the summer of 2023, I went to the University of Santa Cruz to join the science internship program. As the only person who flew from China to be there, I taught everyone there to make dumplings, red bean bread, and sweet bean soup from scratch. I also inspired my Arabic friends to make shakshuka.
In school, I became the leader of our baking club, and I led over 20 kids from G6-12. In the baking club, not only do I get to teach more kids how to bake and cook, but also get to bond together with them sharing the happiness of a piece of sweet treat. Furthermore, as the baking club, I supported many school activities, like the Performance Art Showcase, through raising money from bake sales. I hope to utilize my baking skills to grow our community in all directions.
